How to Survive in Anglo-Saxon England is announced

My new Anglo-Saxon survival book is due for release in September and can be pre-ordered now.

THIS BOOK COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE! If you are planning to travel back to the England of Anglo-Saxon times and begin a new life without technology, how will you manage? If you were a king, a thegn or even a slave, what rights do you have under the law? Are women treated well by their husbands, and if you become sick, what are your chances of recovery? How might you earn your living, and the biggest worry: what to do about those fearsome Vikings? All these questions and more are answered in this self-help guide for time-travellers. It explores the difficulties you may encounter and the problems that might occur, especially as you are a newcomer in this very different world.

Richard III's letter is now on show at Sandwich Guildhall Museum

My Richard III talk in Sandwich was FULLY BOOKED

Sandwich Medieval Trust organised a wonderful event to mark Richard III's visit to their Kentish town in January 1484. RIII was worried about the threat of another invasion from France and what's the latest news on those pesky Princes in the Tower?

RICHARD IS INNOCENT

Philippa Langley's latest research project provides more evidence for those who have maintained for many years that The Princes in the Tower survived.

I wrote about it in my book Richard III King of Controversy

Now re-released my paperback Richard III King of Controversy is available as a paperback or Ebook from Amazon. It's a concise yet detailed introduction to the story and controversies surrounding one of England's best known Kings; Richard III reigned for only 2 years, but his reputation has grown and intrigued generations over the centuries. His body was discovered in an amazing twist of fate in 2012, and his re-internment in Leicester Cathedral in 2015 created yet more controversy for this most enigmatic King of England.

This new pocket sized paperback edition was updated in 2023 click here for your copy or on Kindle here

My first Tudor non-fiction - OUT NOW

Imagine you're transported back to Tudor England and had to start a new life there, without smartphones, satnav or social media, how will you know where you are or where to go? Where will you live and where will you work? And who can you turn to if you fall ill or God forbid if you upset the king? In a period when execution by beheading was the fate of thousands how can you keep your head in Tudor England?

All these questions are answered in this new guidebook to make your visit to the 16th century much more fun. Enjoy interviews with the celebrities of the day, and learn some new words to set the mood for your time-travelling adventure. Have an exciting visit but be sure to keep this book to hand.

13.5 million pages read on Kindle Unlimited

Tim from Madeglobal tells me that readers have read over thirteen million pages of my Seb Foxley novels - I'm shocked so many people enjoy what I write

E.M Powell, author of the Stanton and Barling medieval mysteries “Toni Mount paints a vivid picture of medieval London that is as colourful as an illuminated manuscript. A hearty huzzah for the return of Seb Foxley!”

Tracy Borman, historian and broadcaster “An atmospheric and compelling thriller that takes the reader to the dark heart of medieval London.”

Matthew Lewis author and chairman of Richard III Society “Toni Mount continues to delight with the superbly crafted Seb Foxley mysteries.
